Camino Primitivo Stages

The most common divisions: 12, 13 and 14 stages

The official guide of my house of the Camino primitivo divides the 313 kilometres into 12 Stage . Generally, on the Camino de Santiago each one adapts the route to their needs, thanks to the large amount of accommodation available along the Camino. But in the Primitivo the accommodation is scarce, at least in 2015, so, although the end of the stage can vary from one town to the neighbour, the twelve days of route are quite inevitable. In fact, many official guides speak of fourteen days, and some others of thirteen.

Here you can find a table with the stages resulting from doing it in 13 and 14 days, as well as the 12 which I did it, which are the one that you will find more detailed. The difference between my route and the other two is that I arrive at Grandas de Salime in the fifth stage, while the other routes do it in the sixth; and the extra day that has the 14 days is added between Ferreira and Santiago, that the routes of 12 and 13 stages do it in 3 days, and the 14 in 4.
